Women of Lenhanker village on 8 March, 1924
Women of Lenhanker village in Kapan celebrate International Women’s Day, 8 March, for the first time in 1924.
The photograph shows about fifty women standing and sitting in several rows, while the front row sits on a carpet spread on the ground. Many wear headscarves, some white veils. On the right of the group there is also one man in a cap. Behind them are the wall and windows of a stone building, and above them a flag with an inscription is raised.
