Mount Dimats in the Ijevan Mountains

Mount Dimats is in the Tavush Province of Armenia, in the Ijevan Mountains. It is 2378 metres high, and its summit lies 5 km north, in a straight line, of the village of Teghut. The mountain is within Dilijan National Park, and the Shahot waterfall lies to the east of it.

The summit offers an impressive view of the rocky walls of the Ijevan Mountains. The photograph shows tall rocks covered with moss and grass; a person with a backpack stands on top of the rock on the right, with forested mountains and a cloudy sky in the distance.
