An old house in Kars

Armenian architecture of the old houses of the city of Kars. Kars is now in the territory of Turkey.

The photograph shows a two-storey house built of dark dressed stone. There is carved decoration around the windows and on the capitals of the pilasters, and the upper floor has a balcony with an ornamental iron railing. The ground floor has wooden doors, with an arched gateway on the right.
