Cross with a particle of the Cross of the Lord

This cross contains a particle of the Cross of the Lord. It is a gift from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to the Armenian museum “Tapan”.

The metal cross lies on red fabric. The ends of its arms have rounded edges and bear relief figures, some of them with haloes. In the centre of the cross is a round case with a transparent cover, and gilded branch-like rays extend between the arms.
