Silver cup, 18th century

Silver cup, 18th century. Etchmiadzin (Vagharshapat), Armenia.

The cup stands on a tall stem that widens towards the bottom. At the top of the stem is a spherical knot with two ornamental handles. The lower part of the stem bears relief figures of seated people with haloes, and an inscription runs along the rim of the cup.
