Church in the Yerevan City Cemetery

This church of Old Yerevan, built in 1900, stood in the central part of the city cemetery, near today’s Komitas Pantheon. It was demolished in the early 1930s together with the cemetery.

The photograph shows the church with its dome under a conical roof topped by a cross. In front stand 2 tall carved tombstones crowned with crosses, surrounded by other graves and heaps of stones.
