Gevorg Bashinjaghyan, “Sevan”, 1915

Painter Gevorg Bashinjaghyan, “Sevan” (1915), Armenia.

The painting shows a moonlit night over the lake. The moon shines through the clouds onto the water; a boat with two people is on the lake, mountains rise in the distance, and a small fire burns on the far shore.
