Kindergarten breakfast in Yerevan, 1927

The photograph shows the morning breakfast at a kindergarten in Yerevan in 1927. Many children sit around long tables with white tablecloths, with plates and food on the tables. Behind the children stand the teachers, several of them in white coats. On the left are trees in blossom. The photograph is tinted.

The picture presents the peaceful everyday life of the newly forming Soviet Armenia: the simplicity of childhood, care and attention to education.
