Gevorg Chavush on Aghtamar Island, 1904

Gevorg Chavush, a figure of the Armenian national movement and one of the best-known fedayi leaders, was, according to the source, photographed only once in his life. This photograph was taken by Vahan Papazian (Koms) in 1904 on Aghtamar Island, on the day he parted with Andranik. Andranik Ozanian was one of the leaders of the Armenian national liberation movement and a national hero of the Armenian people.
